The Challenge: A Critical Need for Infrastructure Sifuyo Comprehensive School in Funyula, Kenya, serves as a vital educational hub for 291 children, many of whom come from vulnerable backgrounds, including orphans and single-parent households. However, the school is currently facing an infrastructure crisis that threatens the safety and dignity of its students. Severe overcrowding and a shortage of 121 desks force many children to sit on dusty floors during lessons. The existing classrooms are dilapidated, with crumbling walls and leaking roofs that make learning difficult and dangerous. The situation requires immediate intervention to renovate these hazardous structures and construct four new classrooms to decongest the school.

The Solution: The Sifuyo Summit Challenge To meet this urgent need, we have launched the "Sifuyo Summit Challenge." In a powerful demonstration of commitment, the Chair of our association, Jack Mugoya, will attempt to summit Mt. Kenya to raise critical awareness and funds for the project. His steep climb symbolizes the monumental obstacles these students face daily in their pursuit of education. By sponsoring Jack’s ascent, you are helping to transform a dilapidated facility into a center of excellence, directly contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
